Fast to install

Add reviews to WordPress in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Install the plugin

Download the BrandTrust.reviews plugin and upload it under Plugins → Add New → Upload, then activate it.

  2. 2

    Connect your widget

Design a widget in BrandTrust.reviews, copy its sync key, and paste it into the plugin settings. The plugin pulls and caches your reviews.

  3. 3

    Drop in the block

Add the BrandTrust Reviews block (or the [brandtrust] shortcode) to any page — your reviews render instantly.

The WordPress plugin is included on the Growth plan and up. On Starter and Essentials you can still add your reviews with the one-line JavaScript snippet — it works on WordPress too. A bonus of the plugin: reviews render on your own server, so those page views are uncapped and don't count toward your monthly view limit.

WordPress Reviews widget FAQ

How do I add Google reviews to WordPress?

Create a widget in BrandTrust.reviews and connect your Google Business Profile, then either install the WordPress plugin and add the BrandTrust Reviews block, or paste the one-line embed snippet into a Custom HTML block. Your Google reviews appear and update automatically.

Do I need to know code to use it on WordPress?

No. With the plugin you add a block and pick your widget — no code at all. If you prefer, you can also paste a single line of embed code into a Custom HTML block.

Which plan includes the WordPress plugin?

The native WordPress plugin is included on the Growth plan and above. On the free Starter and Essentials plans you can still display your reviews on WordPress using the one-line JavaScript snippet.

Does the plugin slow my site down?

No — the plugin caches your reviews locally and renders them server-side as part of your page, so there is no extra client-side fetch and the reviews are search-engine readable. Views served through the plugin are also uncapped and don’t count toward your plan’s monthly view limit.

Can I combine reviews from different platforms on WordPress?

Yes. One all-in-one widget can blend Google, Facebook, TripAdvisor, Etsy, eBay and WooCommerce reviews, each card tagged with its source logo, and you add that single widget to WordPress.

Is there a free WordPress reviews widget?

Yes — you can create and embed a reviews widget on the free Starter plan with no credit card, using the JavaScript snippet. Upgrade to Growth for the native plugin and uncounted views.
